The caldera of Santorini is actually a basin, four miles in diamater which scientists and archaeologists have linked with the myth of Atlantis. The landscape consists of steel rocks and cliffs that towers above almost touching the sky. It is more than a thousand feet above the sea level and extends underneath the sea for an additional thousand feet, thereby creating a perfect harbor. Gázi
It is THE hotspot of Athens and not unjustly so: “mezé” tavernas (=restaurants where you can dine on middle dishes instead of individual main ones) restaurants of international cuisine, delicious “souvlaki” restaurants, pop, (hard) rock, mainstream, swing and retro, gay and lesbian bars and clubs, galleries, fringe theatres – you name it! Monastiráki and Psirrí
Right next to Thissío and still at the foot of the Acropolis, this wide area recalls the Orient: low buildings, narrow cobbled streets, a flea market, almost no access to the cars. Alternative bars and stylish restaurants lie side by side with old-fashioned cafes, Greek tavernas and shops of all kinds. Live Greek music in Greek restaurants is a possibility too.
Kolonáki
In the night, spirits are high also in the business area of the downtown where the famous boutiques keep the branches. The Acropolis
The greatest and finest sanctuary of ancient Athens, dedicated primarily to its patron, the goddess Athena, dominates the centre of the modern city from the rocky crag known as the Acropolis. The most celebrated myths of ancient Athens, its greatest religious festivals, earliest cults and several decisive events in the city's history are all connected to this sacred precinct. The monuments of the Acropolis stand in harmony with their natural setting. These unique masterpieces of ancient architecture combine different orders and styles of Classical art in a most innovative manner and have influenced art and culture for many centuries. The Acropolis of the fifth century BC is the most accurate reflection of the splendour, power and wealth of Athens at its greatest peak, the golden age of Perikles.
Delphi
At the foot of Mount Parnassos, within the angle formed by the twin rocks of the Phaedriades, lies the Pan-Hellenic sanctuary of Delphi, which had the most famous oracle of ancient Greece. Delphi was regarded as the centre of the world. According to mythology, it is here that the two eagles sent out by Zeus from the ends of the universe to find the navel of the world met. The sanctuary of Delphi, set within a most spectacular landscape, was for many centuries the cultural and religious centre and symbol of unity for the Hellenic world. The history of Delphi begins in prehistory and in the myths of the ancient Greeks.
Sounio
Sounio is about one hour away from the center of Athens. The drive is a comfortable one once you get to The Attiki Odos. On site, there is one restaurant with a good view of the temple of Poseidon, and one smaller store that sells knickknacks and souvenirs and bottled water.
Besides the Temple of Poseidon, there are a few other ruins of visual interest. You will see the remnants of the defensive walls and traces of ancient building foundations but not much else. But the view from top of the peninsula makes up for the sparsity of the site. The low hill is surrounded completely by the blue sea (except the north approach to the site), and it's perhaps the only site where one can really comprehend the importance of seafaring in ancient Greece.
Olympia
In the western Peloponnese, in the "Valley of Gods", lies the most celebrated sanctuary of ancient Greece, and the birthplace of the most important athletic mega-event of all times; the Olympic Games. Olympia is one of the most well known tourist destinations in Greece, and one of the most powerful brand names worldwide.

It is a part of the Cyclades islands formation that dominates the centre of the Aegen sea.
It can be accessed by boat from Piraeus (4 – 5 hours on high speed boat, 5 – 9 hours on a regular, depending on the route) or by plain from Athens (40 minutes), and of course by private boat, plain or helicopter.

Due its idyllic scenery, Santorini is very popular for honeymooners. It boasts a great night life while those who seek peace and harmony can find beautiful escapades.

Since the fifties, Mykonos has always been one of the most popular tourist islands of the Mediterranean. Visited by all parts of society, in Mykonos you can meet celebrities from all over the world, VIPs, politicians, supermodels as well as wild youngsters, and curious travelers.
Chora, as the town of Mykonos is commonly known, impresses and casts its spell on the visitor from the first moment, with its beautiful position, scale and architecture. Despite the great tourist development of the island, it manages to maintain its Cycladic features and traditional look, like few other towns.
Mykonos never sleeps. Party starts at its beaches when the sun is high, to move on to the numerous bars and clubs in Chora as the sun sets, to go on till the sun rises again… And the circle continues. Party hard or stay home!
